The Canton-Akron (CAK) Photography Meetup Group is for anyone interested in photography and meeting other photographers. Our goal is to help give photographers destinations, inspiration and community with others that have the same interests. And of course fine tuning our photographic skills! From novice to advanced, our goal is to create magic in the studio. Our workshops will mostly be an opportunity for you to build you portfolio. We supply the models, you bring your camera, and see the results. Most workshops will have a number of set stations. You just set your camera to the setting, put on the trigger and shoot away. You learn by doing.

Get Lost! is a group of people who just like to hike around parks in Northeast Ohio and get lost in nature, thought, and conversation. I just returned from 10 years in Tokyo Japan where I was a member of a Tokyo camera club. Now that I am back in Ohio, I would like to start a similar club here. The purpose of this group is to meet monthly at different sites, take pictures, learn from each other, and then go to a local restaurants to share pictures and experiences. All levels of photographers are welcome, from those owning simple point and shoot cameras, to those with the latest digital SLR.
